Lecture by Professor Sir Colin Humphreys at the 63rd William Menelaus Memorial Lecture

On 16 March 2026, Professor Sir Colin Humphreys presented at Cardiff University the 63rd William Menelaus Memorial Lecture on "AI, Data Centres, an Electricity Crisis, and Ultra-Low Energy 2D Semiconductor Devices beyond Silicon." At the end of the Lecture, he was presented with the 63rd William Menelaus Memorial Lecture Medal. The lectures have been given annually since 1927, when the first lecture was given by Sir William Bragg.
